FORECLOSURES AND OTHER REAL ESTATE MATTERS
The Pro Bono Project can provide assistance in foreclosures if the foreclosure proceedings have not been properly followed or the amount owing is disputed. VARN cannot assist with foreclosures in which the amount owed is correct and the foreclosure is a result of nonpayment. You will need to provide any documents concerning the loan and property in question and any foreclosure notices as well as records of payments made. If you feel that you do not qualify for assistance through VARN’s foreclosure program, you may find assistance through the State of Nevada’s Foreclosure Mediation Program or the National Foreclosure Mitigation Counseling Program.
The Pro Bono Project can also provide assistance in certain types of other real estate matters. Some of the areas of assistance in real estate matters include breach of contract, quiet title, disputes concerning deposit refunds and disputes with contractors.
