Volunteer Attorneys for Rural Nevadans (VARN) is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization. VARN believes that all people should have access to the civil justice system. VARN's mission is to provide free and/or reduced fee civil legal representation to persons of limited means and domestic violence survivors and to encourage and facilitate the provision of volunteer services by attorneys and others.
VARN provides free (pro bono) civil legal services to individuals and families with low income in rural northern Nevada.

VARN also provides free Self-Help Divorce Clinics for simple, uncomplicated cases. To find out more about the VARN pro bono program or how to apply for assistance, please use the links listed on this page.
The Domestic Violence Victim's Assistance Project (DVVAP) provides free civil legal services for domestic violence survivors, regardless of income. DVVAP serves domestic violence survivors in rural communities throughout northern and central Nevada.
